On January 6th, 1412, Jeanette (Joan) d'Arc was born to Jacques d’Arc and Isabelle Romee, in Domremy France.
In the summer of 1425, Joan began to have visions where she heard the voice of God telling her to drive the English out of France.
In 1428 Joan travels to Vaucouleurs, asks to join the Dauphins forces, but is turned away. Later, in 1429, She journies back to Vaucouleurs, and is finally accepted.
On May 7, 1429, the English siege of Orleans was broken up by Joan of Arc.
On May 9, 1429, Joan of Arc Defeated the English at Orleans.
Joan of Arc's attack on Paris fails.
On July 14th, 1430, Joan of Arc was taken prisoner by the Burgundians in May and was handed over to the English for trial for heresy.
Joan of Arc, condemned as a relapsed heretic (a witch), was burned at the stake in Rouen, France. She was 19 years old.
Henry V of England died and was succeeded by his infant son, Henry. Under the terms of the Treaty of Troyes, he became heir to the French throne.
On August 28, 1429, Burgundy and France agreed a four-month truce.
