The Roman Empire collapses and leave Britain and the south of Britain, was conquered by the Germanic Anglo-saxons. Scotland was politically divided into four kingdoms: Pictland (the kingdom of Alba), Scotti (Dál Riata), Altclut (Strathclyde) and the Anglo-saxon kingdom of Bernicia.
