The "Leyes de Reforma" were some laws created by Benito Juárez, the president of México in that time. They were mainly about the free way of expresion and the separation of the clergy with the state.This laws had created a big impact on the mexican history because it was a big step when the clergy stopped to had that much influence in the government decisions and the state power increased.
