The Byzantine Empire came to an end when turkish invadors attacked. Under the leadership of an ambitious sultan, Mehmed II, the Ottoman Turks were able to finish off the Byzantine empire. This siege was very strategically planned out for a long time, leading to the great success of the Ottoman Turks.
