In 1928, the first premiere of Mickey Mouse was aired and became a huge hit. It was called Steamboat Willie and after it became a huge hit, a new film called Plane Crazy. There were lots more Mickey Mouse short films aired which became popular but the Steamboat Willie was the most popular. Because of these Mickey Mouse short films, films with sound had become extremely popular.
