In the beginning of the first century AD, a new religion rose called Christianity. This religion was based upon the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin named Mary. Christianity had ideas rooted from Judaism but it developed as a seperate faith.
