Generation Z is the generation born in the 2000s. This generation has become dependent on technology. According to a survey on current students, 97% own a computer and 94% own a cellphone. This further illustrates this generations dependence on technology. A major innvation of Gen Z is WiFi. This innovation gives access to internet almost anywhere. Communication among this generation is primarily through text messages and social media.
