The Han Dynasty is considered by many to be China's "Golden Age", following the collapse of the short lived and unstable Qin Dynasty, the Han would go on to rule for 400 years. This period in Chinese history is so important, the largest ethnic group in China today still refers to themselves as "Han Chinese"
