Soon after Samuel the Lamanite prophesied in Zarahemla the Lamanites also began to turn from the truth and increase in their own pride. We are not told exactly when this began, but by the year 2 BC both the Nephites and Lamanites are sufficiently hardened that they reject the many signs and wonders that began to be shown among the people.
