During this time America grew and stabilized itself economically and politically. The Louisiana purchase was made during this time period which gained a lot of land for America prompting growth in every way possible as a nation. this time period also gave birth to the industrial revolution causing a positive economic shift. Although al of this growth was happening America was committing terrible acts such as the trail of tears and the continuation of slavery in the southern states.
