A war fought between the newly created United States and an alliance of Native American tribes in the Northwest territory. After failed negotiations with Native American tribes to give up their land, Congress sends the army in to beat them up. However, the untrained American military suffers several key defeats at the hands of the alliance, such as the Harmar Campaign, where they were severely outnumbered, or St. Clair's Defeat, where untrained soldiers were slaughtered by Indian forces. Finally, the Americans win at the Battle of the Fallen Timbers, where the alliance soon discovers that it would no longer be receiving help from the British. This crushed Native American morale, and soon peace negotiations began.
