Shays' Rebellion was an armed uprising in Massachusetts, mostly in and around Springfield during 1786 and 1787. American Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays led four thousand rebels in a protest against perceived economic and civil rights injustices.-in a result of the Articles of Confederation along came Shay's Rebellion.
-Debtors court began taking farmers land.
-this resulted in the farmers to rebel, it takes weeks to put down the revolt.
-this resulted in the constitutuonal convetion.
