In 40BC Antony married Octavian's sister, Octavia. Eight years later, however, he divorced her to marry Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt. Antony's behavior led to a civil war in Rome. In 31BC Octavian Octavian sent a fleet and Antony meet it. They lost but survived and ended up killing themselves.
