The Progressive Era lead to many changes in the United States between 1890 and 1920. Those involved in the Progressive Era took charge in changing the economic and social problems that were created by the fast industrialization. It first began as a social movement in an attempt to create equal rights and then evolved into a political movement. Many events that happened during this time period(1890-1920) still affects the United States to this day
