Attention started to shift back to HTML and away from XHTML after people realized HTML was more open to entirely new technologies. They would've had to replace XHTML to involve new things, rather than expand it like HTML could. HTML 4 was expanded further because of this during this time. The W3C however was still stuck on XHTML, so Apple, Mozilla, and Opera jointly worked under WHATWG to develop HTML further.Добавлено на ленту времени:
