Rock and roll is introduced, and the Korean war begins, leaving a lot of traumatized WWII veterans kind of pissed off. Disneyland opens, and Elvis becomes insanely popular. Hula hooping also becomes a common way for people to pass the time. Segregated schools start to disappear, much to the distaste of angry spoiled white kids.
