Tenseh says that all of them are pretty stupid and they need someone clever in the group.They go to Plato, a former major city but after the war it was destroyed. Now it's an average town. Which is still good compared to the rest of the city. There's a crowd watching a boy playing 20 chess matches blindfolded. He wins them all flawlessly and gains a ton of cash. They say he's perfect. He goes up to them and he says he'll come if they beat him in a game of chess. It's 3 vs 1 on a single chess board. They keep going on and on, but they can't seem to win. Menzu ends up versing him last, using his speed to try and catch him out. They all lose multiple times, but he joins anyway. He just wanted to see how good they were. This annoys them. He then introduces himself.

Gustav: We're all 15 huh? That's convenient.
Menzu: Yeah! We could be in the same class!
Tenseh: Can we?
Judan: No.
Tenseh: Why not? We're already friends aren't we?
Judan: No! Of course we aren-*achoo!*

Menzu has a realisation. He's found friends and he's been happier than he's ever been. Over such a short period of time he's changed so much.

Tenseh: What do you think Menzu?
Menzu: Yeah! It sounds like fun!
Judan: I TOLD YOU. WE AREN'T GOING TO SCHOOL. ALL THE SCHOOLS IN THIS COUNTRY WERE DESTROYED 50 YEARS AGO, AND WE CAN'T AFFORD TO BUILD NEW ONES.
Menzu: Then let's just build our own. You're so dumb Judan.
Tenseh: Honestly...
Judan: SHUT UP! IT'S BOTH OF YOU WHO ARE THE DUMB ONES.
Tenseh: Damn. And he didn't even sneeze.
Menzu: So that's what you really think Judan?
Judan: No. I'm sorry.
Tenseh and Menzu start laughing.: HAHAHA He fell for it.
They run away from Judan
Judan: GET HERE SO I CAN KILL YOU!!!
M+T: AAAAH! Help us Gustav!!
Gustav starts laughing and they stop running.
Menzu: We haven't seen you laugh since we saw you. Now we know you're able to loosen up a bit.
Gustav: Yeah, I guess so.
Menzu: But.. why are you coming with us? What's your goal?
Gustav: I want to find a group of people called the 'JOYKILLERS', but I also want to find the reason behind 'The Master Race''s strength and why they want the Sacred Jewels so badly.
All 3 look confused.
Menzu: I have no idea what any of that meant, but okay!
Gustav: Really? None of you understood that?
3: Nope.
Gustav: I'm shocked. You're trying to save the country and you don't know a single thing about it. I'm going to have to teach you before we go any further.
Menzu: Like school?
Judan: NO!
Gustav: Well, sort of.
M+J: YEAHHH!!!
