FR deprived of many colonies and had heavy war debts that brought the onset of financial troubles that >> FR Revolution.

Prussia emerged as new European great power. AU gradually lost leadership of HRE. Pre-War, the major powers in Europe were Great Britain, France, and Austria (HRE). After the war, Prussia was included in this list as well.

Europe's first true world war. Paved way for BR world supremacy. Emerged w/ largest colonial empire. BR war debt led to deterioration of relations w/ American colonies >> Revolution. War brought Russia into Europe politically/militarily

The Treaty of Hubertusburg in 1763 ended conflict between Austria, Prussia, and Saxony
Territorially, Prussia re-gained Silesia and Glatz
However, despite Prussia’s improved reputation, it suffered major population losses and land destruction. Its army was vastly depleted, leading to lose badly in a later war with France
