During the first half of the 70th week of Daniel 9, Messiah the Prince carried out His ministry, which began when He was baptized and proclaimed in the synagogue that the passage in Isaiah was fulfilled in Him.

He confirmed/ratified the everlasting covenant in the middle of the seven years. And the Gospel was proclaimed to the Jews during the latter half of the 70th week. 3,000 Jews believed on the Day of Pentecost and more were added daily.

The stoning of Stephen marked the end of the 70th week of Daniel 9. After that event, a dramatic shift took place in the narrative of Acts, as the Gospel was also proclaimed to the Gentile nations.
