At this day in age, Greece is considered a democracy, which means people vote for leaders and have freedom of speech. Today's Greek culture is a blend of old traditions and new ideas. A lot of the Greek still celebrate Greek holidays, enjoy traditional music and dancing, and eat delicious foods like souvlaki and baklava. Although they very much enjoy the old customs, they also enjoy modern things. Families are also very important in their lives, and a lot of people choose to live close to relatives. Greeks celebrate their past with the philosophers, Gods, and old culture still influencing them and the world.
