The Glorious Revolution was caused by William of Orange being asked by England to come and invade Charles II. He did and Charles was scared so he fled to France. This made the Glorious Revolution because no bloodshed was made during the changing of leadership. This revolution lasted until the signing of the English Bill of Rights after the King and Queen were Coronated, this led to them giving up the absolutist monarchy style that their predecessors used greatly resulting in a monarchy that was now limited or constitutional in England.
