In November 2017, the open television database known as <a href="https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=43254" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TheTVDB.com suffered a data breach</a>. The breached data was posted to a hacking forum and included 182k records with usernames, email addresses and MySQL password hashes.
