In November 2015, the US internet and cable TV provider Comcast <a href="http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/comcast-data-breach-590000-customer-passwords-go-sale-dark-web-1528026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suffered a data breach that exposed 590k customer email addresses and plain text passwords</a>.
