Utopian Socialists (1 янв 1771 г. – 1 янв 1858 г.)
Описание:
The term socialism first appeared around 1830, when it referred to the ideas of social critics such as Charles Fourier (1772 - 1837) and Robert Owen ( 1771 - 1858) often called utopian socialists, Fourier, Owen, and their followers worked to establish ideal communities that would point the way to an equitable society. Owen kept young children out of the factories and sent them to a school that he opened in 1816. The ideas of the utopian socialists resonated widely in the 19th century, and their disciples established experimental communities in the United States.
