Following the revolution for independence came the creation of the constitution. The 13 states had already started on their journey to create their own constitution, however, these were still not completely democratic. Even though the congress had notable achievements, this loose confederation did not satisfy the Americans who were searching for a stronger authority and organization for their nation, and eventually led to situations where the citizens realize how weak their government was.
