The Industrial Revolution was a period of significant economic and social change in Europe and North America. It brought about new technologies and manufacturing processes, which helped to increase individual wealth and autonomy. The Factory Acts were a series of laws that were passed in the United Kingdom in the 19th century to regulate working conditions and protect workers' rights.During the Industrial Revolution of the 18th-19th Century, the principle of economic freedom was established through the growth of industry and the development of new technologies that increased productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the principle of rule of law was furthered through the introduction of Factory Acts, which provided protections for workers and established minimum standards for working conditions.
