''They should know that I am the Lord.'' was repeated 60 times. Its means that that they will recognize that the Lord is in control of everything. and nothing happens without him.
God calls Ezekiel to be a watch man for Israel and Judah. This in important because he has to tell them of all the ''danger'' that lies ahead. If he fails the task he will have to pay the consequences of the people.
