Jehoahaz started out unfaithful, went to faithful, then unfaithful again. Jehoahaz reigned for 17 years. During his reign Benhadad starting attacking Israel. Jehoahaz called out to the Lord to save them, and he did. Jehoahaz did not remain faithful for long though and the Lord shrunk his army.2 kings 13:4
Then Jehoahaz sought the Lord’s favor, and the Lord listened to him, for he saw how severely the king of Aram was oppressing Israel.
