A war between the Gaian Order and the Martian Commonwealth was going badly for Earth, with the Martians launching an invasion backed by a rebellion by a new political movement within the Gaian Government, with both failing as the Martians only landed troops on a few spots of the planet and the rebellion proved to be extremely unpopular.
