Mexican Revolution (20 ноя 1910 г. – 5 фев 1917 г.)
Описание:
The Mexican Revolution was a major conflict in Mexican history that lasted from 1910 to 1920. It was a complex and multifaceted conflict that involved various factions fighting for control of the Mexican government. The Revolution was sparked by widespread discontent with the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz, who had ruled Mexico for more than 30 years. The Revolution saw the overthrow of Díaz and the establishment of a new, democratic government. The US played a role in the conflict, primarily through its support for the Mexican government. This support took the form of economic and military aid, as well as diplomatic pressure on other countries to recognize the government of Mexican President Venustiano Carranza. The US also intervened militarily on a few occasions, most notably during the occupation of Veracruz in 1914 and the expedition against Pancho Villa in 1916. However, these interventions were limited in scope and did not involve a full-scale US invasion of Mexico. Overall, the US played a supporting role in the Mexican Revolution, but it did not intervene directly in the conflict.
