Описание:

With the North wanting to do away with slavery and the South wanting to keep it for agricultural purposes, the South seceded from America and thus, the civil war was fought. Black men in the north wanted to fight for the freedom of slaves and around 200 thousand enlisted in the Union military. However, despite their devotion to the cause, black soldiers were still treated with racism from their white officers and didn't receive much recognition.
