Nuremberg Trials (20 ноя 1945 г. – 1 окт 1946 г.)
Описание:
The Nuremberg trials were a series of military tribunals held by allied forces following World War II in accordance with international and war laws. The conviction of significant members of Nazi Germany's political, military, judicial, and economic leaders who planned, carried out, and/or otherwise participated in the holocaust as well as other war crimes was the most crucial feature of the trials. The trials were held in Nuremberg, Germany, and their outcomes represented a watershed moment in the development of classical and current international law.
The first and most well-known trial was that of the major war criminals before the international military tribunal (IMT). It was called "the greatest trial in history." The IMT trial, which took place between the 20th of November 1945 and the 1st of October 1946, was tasked with trying 24 of the Third Reich's most important political and military leaders; this article concentrates solely on the IMT trial. Further trials of minor war criminals were held at the US Nuremberg Military Tribunal (NMT) under Control Council Law No. 10, which included the Doctors' Trial and the Judges' Trial.
