Hitler blamed the Jews for everything bad that happen in Germany. The head of the SS created this strike force that is called Einsatzgruppen. They gathered the Jews and put them in ghetto. They probably killed more than 1 million Jews. They also took Jews from other places. By spring of 1942 the camps were packed. The way they killed them was by putting them in a gas chamber. They killed 3 million in the death camps and 6 million outside the camp. Most people acted like they didn't know what was going on. Some people even help to find the Jews. 90 percent of the Jewish population was killed during this time.
