in the 17th century, there was a strong ideology of how to rule your country with that being this divine right to rule believing that you had been strictly chosen by God to rule over this land there with it being a living real-life representation of God in human form. charles would let everyone know this. within the 17th century, it was almost ruled by a dictatorship with the king choosing all the laws and all the acts but this was covered up by a new name that would be called a monarchist Society and therefore he can't be held accountable for any of his actions this is because he is the living Christ where he would watch overall human figures Charles would believe in this heavily and let everyone else know this with himself being a arminiamism And would show a clear biassed attitude to people that believed in the same as him
