The Battle of Lexington sparked the beginning of the American Revolution. approximately 700 british soldiers were ordered to find colonists military supplies and destroy whatever they could find. The colonists hid what they could but the soldiers were able to find some and destroyed it.
the soldiers fired at the colonists for not backing down and ended up with a few casualties.
But in concord the colonists have superior firepower than the soldiers and ended up making the soldiers retreat with many dead and injured.
