Описание:

With the appointment of Nikita Khrushchev, the Stalin era ended. He made many changes to Russia, aiming to end the oppression that Stalin had begun.
The most significant changes were made to foreign policies, which dealt with neutral countries.

Significance: During De-Stalinization, communist oppression reduced and foreign policies changed. Americans believed it was possible that the Soviet Union wouldn't push much farther, or at least that tensions would decrease.
