He pioneered the theory of “quanta,” which were “discrete packets” of energy that transferred between things, which was vastly different than the dominant theory of the time that it flowed in a “steady continuum.” His theory started all of quantum theory and started a revolution among physicists.His theory came from the evidence of other physicists’ experiments coupled with his own thoughts of relating it all together to make sense of it all.
