UN voted to authorize military action to expel Iraq from Kuwait, and both houses voted to authorize the use of force against Iraq.AM began bombardment of Iraq forces in Kuwait and of military/industrial installation of Iraq itself. Allied forces under Norman Schwarzkopf entrenched Iraqi forces along Kuwait border to Iraq. Iraq accepted allied terms for cease fire.
