Causes
- even though Tecumseh (a native leader) was
dead, after the War of 1812 southern tribes
who sympathized with Tecumseh’s efforts
began a series of wars to fend of white
encroachment
- white encroachment caused by them
industrializing and the increase of immigrants
coming into America
- Things like the Indian Removal Act and such
also get them mad throughout the war
Effects
- one of these wars, (the first one), gave America
the ability to annex Florida from Spain thanks
to Jackson who was the one that fought in it
- many deaths of Native American tribes
