Porfiriato was a period of time between 1876 and 1911 in which president Porfirio Díaz ruled the country. He managed to modernize the country, paving streets, building monuments, bringing electrical power, bringing the ferrocarril and more. He boosted the economy and developed the country towards a better future but he also forgot about the lower social classes and ruled for a ridiculous amount of time.
