2 Chron 36. The end of the Judean era. Zedekiah reigned for 11 years but despite Yahweh sending the people numerous messengers v15, Zedekiah rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar, rebuked the advances of Jeremiah the prophet v12 "until the wrath of Yahweh arose against his people, till there was no remedy" v16. They were taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar after having destroyed the temple and palaces, destroyed or corrupted the remainder of the holy vessels still in Jerusalem.
