On June 28, 1914 Franz Ferdinand heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary was assassinated. Austria Hungary decided to blame Serbia for the assassination. Serbia made a list of demands they had to fulfill or else they would go to war. New weapons were used for the first time and brought devastating effects. Some of the weapons were the machine gun and the tank. Instead of a surrender or defeat an armistice was made and ended the war. An estimated 20 million lives were lost.Добавлено на ленту времени:
