1375-1412 Margaret I of DenmarkMargaret I of Denmark united Norway, Sweden, and Denmark under the Kalmar Union, which lasted over a century. Margaret’s father was King of Denmark and he arranged a marriage to her and the King of Norway, who she had one son with. She was made queen of Denmark and Norway after her husband, father, and son died in the span of 7 years. Two years later, Margaret defeated the King of Sweden with the support of Swedish nobles. This made her Queen of Denmark, Norway and Sweden until her death in 1412.
