Hungarian. A strong opponent of the Habsburgs and Ottoman Turkey. Involved in the Livonian War with Russia. Though ambitious, he died prematurely.

His personal Hungarian fashion style got popular among the Polish nobles.

Internally, he didn't succeed in expanding the king's power.
