Majority of people in this condition were locked up or shunned. later parts of the enlightenment doctors began to think aggression was a root of the condition. Treatment including dieting, musical, and even drugs was now primarily used. There were a few other "treatments" they used as well, such as water immersion and/or spinning this was thought to put brain contents into the right position.
