The necessary departure of parts of the Russian Imperial Army led by Brusilov to Romania's aid lets the Central Powers begin a new large offensive, which turns out to be a major catastrophe for the Russians, as in three month they see the loss of Pernov, Polotzk, Vinnitza and Minsk. The unsatisfaction by the government and the military command (led by the Czar) starts rapidly increasing amoth the general public.
