The single bloodiest battle of Terran and Human history. The Third Terran Fleet singlehandedly destroyed all Heaven's Gate system defenses and proceeded to destroy every single Orassian Station or Habitat in the system. This killed an estimated 16 billion souls at the cost of 3 million Terran casualties. Over the following months of destroying all Orassian traces from Heaven's Gate, the Third Terran Fleet would be attacked by the two Grand Orassian Fleets that were guarding the new Capital. On September 8th the Great Khan and his two Grand Fleets jumped into Heaven's Gate system and had begun the largest fleet battle since the Machine Age that would last for nearly three months, and would end in the destruction of both Grand Fleets and the death of the Great Khan. Third Fleet lost two-thirds of its ships in the battle. Estimated Terran losses: 15 million (Entire battle not just last fight, aka 12 million losses in final fight.)
