Louis Pasteur's Life Span
Louis Pasteur is most famous for the invention
of the technique pasteurization, named after him.
Pasteurization is a process where a mixture of
water and certain foods, such as milk, are treated
with mild heat, to eliminate pathogens and extend
shelf-life. Today, pasteurization is critical in the
