Because Micah mentions kings Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, it it likely that he lived around this time period, though the book was likely written around 701, at the siege of Jerusalem, as that is the main subject. Micah lived in Morosheth, 30 mi SW of Jerusalem and 8 mi NE of Lachish. It was ransacked in 701 by Sennacherib.
