TEAM was Founded in 1975 after the Young Abbey in The Abbey Theatre (specialised in work for the youth) closed. The artistic director John Breen took over in 2009. They have a TEAM model of play, workshop and resource material. Their aim was to challenge, inspire and met audience concern. TEAM tour schools with a dome that allows them to change the school environment using lights, sound and projection. They were always updating and expanding their work by using Theatre in Education practices by incorporating new ideas and forms of theatre to enhance the audiences experience. TEAM is art lead rather than education lead. They produced beautiful programmes while also being educational. TEAM begin with a broad theme and incorporate the educational aspects in their workshops and support material. TEAM searches for material that is relevant to their audience. In 2009 they produced a film about cyber bullying by De Mallet Burges, this was different to any other TEAM programme. Even tough, it was difficult for their audience to watch but they received praise for this. TEAMS motto is
